Terms & Conditions
Effective October 26, 2026
These terms apply to your use of caminoconnav.com and to trips booked with SoFlo Prospects, LLC d/b/a Camino con Nav ("Camino con Nav," "we," "us"), a Florida Seller of Travel (Reg. No. ST150151). When you book, you also accept the Participant Agreement for your trip, which you review at checkout. If these terms and the Participant Agreement differ, the Participant Agreement controls.
1. Who we are
Camino con Nav plans, sells, and coordinates small-group and self-guided walking trips on the Camino de Santiago. Ground services in Spain are delivered by our ground team, a licensed Spanish travel agency (Xunta de Galicia license XG-207), and by independent local suppliers.
2. Booking and payment
- How to book: trips are booked through our secure booking platform, WeTravel. Your booking is confirmed once your deposit is received and you accept the Participant Agreement.
- Deposit: a non-refundable deposit per traveler holds your spot.
- Guided June 2027 departure: $350 for bookings made on or before October 31, 2026, and $500 after that date.
- Self-guided trips: $500.
- Balance: charged automatically through WeTravel.
- Guided June 2027 departure: due 60 days before departure (April 11, 2027), in one payment or through the monthly plan you choose at booking.
- Self-guided trips: 4 monthly payments, 120, 90, 60 and 30 days before your start date. If you book after a payment date, the missed amounts are spread across the remaining payments.
- If you book after the balance date, the full trip cost is due at booking.
- Price: your per-person price is locked once your deposit is received. Prices shown before booking may change without notice. 2027 is a Holy Year, so self-guided rates vary by date and are confirmed before you pay.
- Not included: international flights, travel insurance, local tourist (city) taxes paid at some hotels, and anything listed as "not included" in your trip details.
3. Cancellations by you
Please send cancellations in writing to info@caminoconnav.com. Charges are based on the date we receive your notice, because we commit non-recoverable payments to suppliers in advance.
| Written notice received | Amount forfeited |
|---|---|
| 31 or more days before departure | Your non-refundable deposit |
| 30–15 days before departure | 25% of total trip cost |
| 14–8 days before departure | 50% of total trip cost |
| 7 days or fewer before departure | 100% of total trip cost |
Add-ons you purchase (such as a private room, excursions, or extra nights) follow the same schedule. We strongly recommend trip cancellation and interruption insurance to protect your investment.
4. Changes or cancellations by us
- Group minimum: guided departures run once 6 travelers are booked (maximum 8). If a departure does not reach the minimum, we will offer a transfer to another date or a full refund of payments made to us, minus any non-recoverable local fees disclosed in your Participant Agreement.
- Itinerary changes: routes, daily distances, activities, and hotels may change because of weather, safety, trail conditions, or supplier availability. We may substitute hotels of equal or better standard.
- Events beyond our control: we are not responsible for changes, delays, or cancellations caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, illness outbreaks, government actions, or travel restrictions. In those cases we will work with our suppliers to offer the best available alternative.
5. Your responsibilities
- Fitness: the Camino involves walking about 12–19 miles (20–30 km) a day on mixed terrain. You confirm you are fit to do so and have consulted a medical professional.
- Travel insurance: travel medical insurance with at least $200,000 in coverage for emergency medical, evacuation, and repatriation is required. Proof is due by the deadline in your Participant Agreement.
- Travel documents: you are responsible for a valid passport (we recommend at least six months of validity beyond your return), any entry authorization required at the time of travel, and meeting all entry rules for Spain.
- Conduct: we may remove a traveler whose behavior endangers or seriously disrupts the group, without refund.
6. Independent suppliers and liability
Hotels, luggage transfers, meals, transportation, and other services are provided by independent suppliers that we do not own or control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for their acts, omissions, delays, or defaults. Walking the Camino involves inherent risks, which are described in the Participant Agreement along with the release of liability you accept at booking.
7. Photos and video
We may use photos and video taken during trips in our marketing. You can opt out at any time by emailing info@caminoconnav.com.
8. Using our website
- Text, photos, logos, and documents on this site belong to Camino con Nav or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for commercial use without our written consent.
